Farm & Grounds
The property sits on a working farm with sheep, cows, chickens, and guinea fowl roaming freely in the fields. Guests have access to a garden with outdoor furniture, a terrace, and bicycle parking, plus a bench by a buddleia bush where butterflies and bees gather. Farm hosts provide fresh bread, farm-fresh eggs, milk, and farm-made fresh butter as a welcome offering.
Leisure
The cottages are located 18 km from Buxton Opera House and 23 km from Chatsworth House. Hiking paths begin directly from the property, including the route up Lose Hill and the surrounding ridge. Guests can walk into Castleton for pub dinners or access cycling trails from the doorstep.
